Liona has worked
as a professional Massage Therapist since 1995 and an Esthetician
since 1979, working for 3 of the top spas in Hawaii for over 13 years.
She holds International diplomas in Aromatherapy, Esthetics
and Massage Therapy, is certified in La Stone Therapy,
and is also a Reiki Master with advanced training in many related
modalities. Liona utilizes over 29 years of training and experience
to provide the ultimate in Facial and body treatments. You will
be pampered with a blend of Hawaiian Lomilomi, Swedish massage, Acupressure,
Reiki, Indian Facelift, Manual lymph drainage

About
Hawaiian Massage
Lomi-Lomi
Hawaiian Lomi-lomi
is the traditional massage of Hawaii. It is a sacred healing method
handed down from generation to generation by the kupuna (elders) and
performed as a rite of passage by Kahuna (specialists in any profession,
in this case healers and shaman) The most important aspect of Lomi-lomi
is the intention to balance heart, mind, body and spirit. Unique to
each therapist, every practitioner does it in a the unique style of
his or her kumu (teachers)
Similar to European
massage, because of its kneading and gliding strokes, Lomi-lomi is a
powerful tool for increasing circulation, soothing nerves, and loosening
muscle tissue. It also addresses energetic levels by helping emotions
and thoughts to be pono (righteous). Lomi-lomi is truly a holistic art
because it treats the whole person: body, mind and spirit.
Techniques are
rhythmic, using the forearms and hands, in long flowing connected, embracing
strokes –
a truly
one-of-a kind island experience
Lomi Pohaku
This treatment
incorporates traditional Hawaiian Lomi-lomi and hot stone therapy.
The heat of the stones penetrates tightened muscles for a deep massage
for the entire body. The highly recommended 80-minute session incorporates
energy balancing and cool stones to instill a feeling of peace, relaxation
and pain relief.
All
treatments include Tevana Organics Products, aromatic
hot towels and relaxing hot stones
